Sembramos y Florecemos (SYF) is a bi-annual fellowship program training emerging leaders in grassroots organizing, healing justice, and cultural strategy.
The program launched in the summer of 2022 to promote civic and social engagement among young people, with a focus on relational and cultural organizing.
SYF is designed to help participants develop skills to create compelling community-engaged projects that disrupt harmful narratives, celebrate the regional culture, and drive advocacy and change-making efforts in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.
